Bel Pata / Bel Leaf

Those rushed Puja mornings are almost here - when you don’t want to miss pushpanjali, but getting there is only half the job. There’s the milling through the crowds, stretching an arm over someone’s shoulder, trying to get your hands on a handful of flowers and that little piece of bel pata before the anjali begins.

This Green Onyx necklace is our little interpretation of that familiar act of offering. The green onyx is paired with a vintage Kundan-set silver pendant, bringing together the green of the Bel Pata, the flowers of the pushpanjali and silver found in so many Puja rituals. 

Green has always felt wonderfully festive, and the little hint of pink adds just enough colour to keep this necklace playful. Light and easy, it works beautifully with a sari but is equally lovely with a simple kurta or contemporary separates for the festive season.
