Begum Hazrat Mahal

 This striking double layered faceted Green Onyx interspersed with pearls is for every green lover's collection. This necklace is an ode to India's tricolour flag and alludes to the third colour - green-  that's symbolic of fertility, faith and prosperity. This  piece is named in honour of Begum Hazrat Mahal, one of the figures in the 1857 War of Independence. She was the Begum of Awadh and the wife of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. 

 The long dangle with a bunch of pearls  is detachable and adds that little extra to this otherwise simple necklace.
